CKY Lexington Concert reviews
Johnny sang almost all of my favorite songs
I have been a CKY fan since the 1960s. He sang Wonderful Wonderful, Chances Are, Wild is the Wind, The Twelfth of Never and many more, including some Brazilian/Portuguese hits like Mas Que Nada. He also led off the second set with three songs from Kismet (Sands of Time, Baubles Bangles and Beads, Stranger in Paradise) and several Henry Mancini songs. I was surprised that the spot light on CKY shone directly in my eyes, so I watched the "big screen" more often than I looked directly at him. With so many hits, he did not sing entire songs, often first and last verse. My second complaint is directed at Ticketmaster. When I ordered my tickets (three months prior to the show), I picked seats 3 and 4 in the ninth row. The layout in Ticketmaster made me think that I had ordered two seats from the aisle - next to the center section, but no, our seats were two seats away from the end of the row - not near the center. Still, being in the ninth row, we had a good view of the screen and could look at CKY when the spot light was dimmed. I have only two complaints - the comedian (Gary Mule Deer) was entertaining, and I am glad that we went to this show.
